Shopping with Lime Tree Design should be a simple and enjoyable experience. It is fundamentally a personal service I offer and I believe most problems can be solved with an email or phone call. The following terms and conditions cover the most frequently asked questions.

Shopping 
Browse the site by clicking on the pictures – this takes you to the categories, subcategories and product pages. You can go direct to the different categories by clicking on the list at the bottom of the home page. Then add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. At any point you can return to the home page by clicking on the logo. At the checkout you can amend quantities and delete items if necessary. You will also be asked to register with the site and give a few details that are needed to be able to complete the order. You will then be passed to the Secure Sage Pay site who will handle your credit/debit card payment. All financial information is encrypted and held by them. Once payment has been completed a confirmation email will be sent to you. This confirms the items bought, delivery terms and returns policy. Goods will be dispatched generally the same or next working day. Small items are sent by Royal Mail, larger, bulky or fragile items by courier. If for some reason I am unable to do so I will contact you. If you would like your purchases gift wrapped or sent direct to a friend, email me the alternative delivery address and any details and I will arrange for that to happen.

Prices
All prices are stated inclusive of VAT and are in pounds sterling. Goods are charged at price shown on the product pages at the time the customer places the order. 

Delivery Charges
Standard delivery is £3.50 per address to mainland UK.

Delivery Timescales etc
Goods will be dispatched Royal Mail 1st class same or next working day. If your goods are not in stock I will contact you and let you know an alternative delivery date. You have the option to cancel if you do not want to wait. If you need the goods urgently please contact me and I will do our best to help. LAST POSTING DAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS WITH FREE DELIVERY IS THURSDAY 20TH DECEMBER.

I only deliver to the UK.

Privacy
Lime Tree Design takes privacy and internet security seriously. All financial transactions are encrypted and are not kept on this site. Lime Tree Design will not disclose customers’ information to third parties. Your name and contact details will be added to the mailing list. If you do not wish to be mailed please let me know. Customers are asked to register so they can be recognized on their return & so you can view back orders.

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges
If you change your mind you can return or exchange goods within 14 days of purchase for a refund on the goods as long as both the packaging and the goods themselves remain intact and you notify Lime Tree Design in writing or by email as soon as possible. Delivery charges are not refundable. Returned goods are at the customers’ expense. Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

Please ask for proof of postage from the post office for your returned item as I cannot be held responsible for anything that gets lost or damaged in transit. Delivery charge and returned postage will only be refunded if the item is faulty in which case you are entitled to a full refund or replacement.

When returns are received a credit is issued to the card used for the original transaction.
